O360/FEP® adopts full distributed computing concepts that supports cluster and load balance. Consequently, the operational performance increases with the customers’ business growth at all time. The process of upgrade only requires the increase in computing equipment and change of system configuration without the need to make programming correction, simplifying the expansion process.
O360/FEP® implements from one of the three different layers of failover mechanism based on the customers’ requirement of Service Level Agreement (SLA) of system and budgeting consideration. Customers will have the option to choose from three levels of failover mechanism.
1. A/S Model (Active/Standby)
Providing same-site different failover, where single server is used for daily operation and may be manually operated or automatically switched to failover in case of any anomaly.
2. A/A Model (Active/Active)
Providing parallel processing and different failover function, where two or more servers are used for daily operation and may be automatically switched to failover in case one of the operating servers fails.
3. Superior A/A (Active/Active) Model
Providing parallel processing, different failover and fault-tolerance function, where two or more servers are used for daily operation. In case one of the operating servers fails, other available service nodes will automatically replace the service so that the front-end system (i.e. ATM) will not result in interrupted service due to failure on certain node.
